About Me

Hello,

Thanks for your interest in my work and getting to know me. I appreciate you giving me your time by taking a look around. Since I got you here, let me tell you a little about me.

Throughout my childhood I developed an affinity toward art and curiosity from my introduction of the early animated movies and cartoons. You could find me in a mess of supplies working on some sort of project whether it was a model made from scrap cardboard boxes or a house made of popsicle sticks. Thanks to these experiences, I hope to carry these values into a prosperous and fulfilling career in the creative industry.

Initially, I thought I wanted to be an animator because of the amazing animation I saw growing up and dreaming of how great it would be to be part of a team who was creating it. I then started a major at DSU, but eventually realized it wasn’t for me after taking my first class in 3D modeling where I discovered my true passion. Unfortunately, the few classes available were mainly an introduction and not related to practical use in the industry. This did not stop me, but rather ignite a flame to learn as much about it through my own initiative. My portfolio is the culmination of what I have learned over the almost 7 years of modeling from online resources, trial and error, and my best educated guess.

I am easygoing and tend to be a more reserved person who would rather focus on the task at hand than have a side conversation to pass time. It is important to me for people to feel respected and I am approachable, so I live by the Golden Rule. I hold my self and work to a high standard and is my primary goal to deliver above expectations.

Education

2015 - Graduated Harrisburg High School

2015 - 2019 - Graduated Dakota State University

Some of my other interests include gaming and technology. One of my earliest memories in gaming is my uncles showing me the Halo series which set me on the path to where I am now. My enthusiasm for technology has played a substantial role in shaping who I am today. I like to keep up to date with the latest tech by listening to podcasts and constantly evolving my personal setup to find the most efficient workflow. Because of this, and I am sure others with similar interests, have been appointed the family IT technician that is called whenever there is a tech issue. I also enjoy kayaking when I go camping with my family in the summer.
